This is insanely imporant

Jamie Oliver is doing amazing things for kids and schools.  As someone who, quite frankly, has struggled with weight her entire life, I can speak personally to the importance of teaching good nutritional habits EARLY.   Jamie will take this petition to Washington, where he will attempt to address our nation's appalling record on nutrition in schools (remember "ketchup is a vegetable"?) with people who can actually do something about it.  Sign now.

  1. I viewed Jamie's Food Revolution in the UK series and am watching his campaign in the US. Both provide an interesting insight as to how one brings about change. A few of us in our own school district have been looking to see how Jamie's tactics might be applied to infusing technology in schools, winning over teachers and administrators.

  2. AAck--I wrote a longish response, so OF COURSE, it failed and I lost it!

Brief version: Interesting applying his ideas to technology. I've only seen one episode, so I'll have to see if they're on Hulu or something. Let me know if you have any a-ha moments! : )
