I think y...Thank you Jeri for this thoughtful post. I think you absolutely hit the nail on the head! In my district, despite the efforts of a few amazing leaders like my principal, the data game is absolutely winning out over innovation. And I understand that, in that district budgets live and die by data...and specifically the data gleaned on a few days of standardized testing. When data is the focus though, the kids are not.
